Jamie Gilfoy is the Broker & Principal of Prescott Real Estate Ltd., a Nova Scotia-based brokerage serving commercial, investment, and residential clients across Atlantic Canada. An active real estate investor and developer, Jamie built his career acquiring, repositioning, and operating income-producing properties, with a focus on value-add residential and small-to-mid-scale commercial assets. That hands-on experience directly informs Prescott’s approach: practical advice, clear communication, and a deep understanding of how deals work beyond the listing.

Fluently bilingual in English and French, with functional Spanish, Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from Dalhousie University. Prior to founding Prescott Real Estate, he worked in journalism, advertising, and publishing, and later launched Aquatique Translation Services, an international language services firm operating since 2014. Raised in a family of entrepreneurs, Jamie blends that foundation with modern market analysis to advise first-time investors, seasoned operators, and owner-occupiers on buying, selling, leasing, and developing property with confidence.
